# IPFS Key manager

Ternoa provides you with the tools to enjoy decentralized storage on IPFS : 

* The [Ternoa IPFS client](https://docs.ternoa.network/for-developers/advanced-guides/ipfs).
*  The IPFS [key generator](https://ipfs-key-manager-git-dev-ternoa.vercel.app/).

Simply connect to the IPFS key generator using your [Ternoa wallet](/getting-started/wallets/ternoa-wallet.md) to generate a new key. This key is required to use the Ternoa IPFS client. **We recommend you to store the IPFS key in an .env.variable file.**
